Safari Highlights
This tour takes you to Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli National Parks for 4 days, 3 nights tour.
Tsavo is one of the largest national parks in Kenya which is divided into two; the Tsavo East and West; by the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. Large herds of dust-red elephants can be seen all over Tsavo.
Amboseli National park is one of the premier national parks in Kenya which offers the spectacular backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain in Tanzania. Amboseli is one of the best parks in Africa to experience large herds of elephants up close.
Safari Program
Day 1
Mombasa – Tsavo East
Meal plan:Breakfast, lunch, dinner
0730 Hrs :Pick up from your hotel and drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway through semi-arid country to the Tsavo East National Park and enter the park through Buchuma Gate. You will start searching for wild animals on entry into the park as you concentrate on the direction of your accommodation lodge/camp. Tsavo East National Park is one of the world’s greatest Wildlife Sanctuaries noted for its vast red-dust elephant herds, lions, leopards, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo and other plain game. Lunch time will get you at your lodge or tented camp .
After lunch you shall proceed for a late afternoon game drive when animals resume after the days heat lull.
Overnight shall be at your preferred lodge or tented camp in Tsavo East.
Day 2
Tsavo East – Tsavo West
Meal plan: Breakfast,lunch,dinner
Early morning game drive in Tsavo East in search of wildlife and birds. Be free to ask your safari driver guide for wild animals that you would love to see. After breakfast, we head over to Tsavo West.
Attractions in Tsavo West include the Mzima Springs where you can see hippos, exotic fish, rhino sanctuary, Shetani Lava flows and beautiful scenery of the Chyulu Hills.
We’ll spend our second safari night at Tsavo West at your choice of lodge or tented camp.
Day 3
Tsavo West – Amboseli
Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast, we head over to Amboseli with a checkout game drive. We arrive at Amboseli over lunch time, relax and go for the afternoon wildlife game drive. We shall look out for the tall summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro while searching for wildlife.
Amboseli is known for picturesque views of the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro with large herds of elephants. We’ll spend the night at Amboseli at your safari lodge or tented camp.
Day 4
Amboseli – Nairobi
Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch
Our final day on safari, we shall rise early for a morning game drive before heading back for breakfast as we look out for the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro if the weather permits.
We will search for the predators, grazers and birdlife. Flamingos can also be sighted in Amboseli National Park.
Head back to Nairobi to arrive in the evening. We shall drop you off to your hotel, residence or airport.
