Kenya Highlight Safari takes you to Samburu, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha and Masai Mara on a 7 day, 6 night safari. Its a mix of wildlife game viewing, bird watching and guided walking safari.
Samburu is known for the special five wildlife: gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, oryx and reticulated giraffe. All three big cats, the lion, cheetah and African leopard can also be found here, as well as the elephant, Cape buffalo and hippopotamus.
Aberdares National Park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others.
Lake Naivasha is known for the guided walking safari, boat ride and bird watching. We shall spend the first day here enjoying a boat ride while watching birds.
Lake Nakuru is known for being a birding nature park with so much great and resourceful history for everyone who pays a visit there. Its one of the great park to visit with more to a safari experience for attractions like great picnic environs for you.
Masai Mara Game Reserve is Kenya’s popular tourist attraction because of its highest wildlife concentration per kilometer, Big Five and yearly wildebeest migration. Abundant Bird life over 450 species recorded.
Safari Program
Day 1
Nairobi – Samburu
Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner 0730hrs:You shall be collected from your Nairobi hotel or Nairobi airport. Depart Nairobi for the Samburu game reserve. Overnight at your Samburu safari lodge or tented camp. What you may see at Samburu game reserve ……
Elephants, Zebra, Bufallo, Warthogs, Antelopes, Oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Somali ostrich etc
Day 2
Samburu
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Spend entire day at the Samburu game reserve with extended game viewing drives to Shaba and buffalo springs reserves. More game in this scenic and arid reserve is concentrated along the banks of the Ewaso nyiro river. Elephants, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Cheetah, Buffalo, Oryx and other animal species may be seen. Meals and overnight at your Samburu luxury lodge or camp.
Day 3
Samburu – Aberdare National park .approx 5Hrs
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Game viewing drive at the Samburu game reserve. Proceed south to the Aberdare national park
Transfer to your tree hotel. Both tree hotels provide spectacular viewing perches for night game viewing. Game is attracted by the waterholes and salt licks around the lodges.
Game drives at the salient are optional (extra cost). Overnight at your Aberdare Tree lodge. What to see at Aberdares National park ……

Day 4
Aberdares – Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Depart the Aberdare and proceed to the Lake Nakuru
The scenic drive is via Thomson’s Falls where you stop to view the scenic waterfalls. Lake Nakuru National Park: Due to some progressive natural factors like increasing water levels , the flamingo numbers have been reducing but the park itself remains stunning – one of Kenya’s finest. Great rocky escarpments tower over acacia forest, waterfalls, wooded hills and euphorbia trees dot the lake.
The few quantity of flamingos is accompanied by other birdlife – pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers, ostriches, storks as well as herons and eagles. The scene here is bountiful, busy and full of color.
But that’s only the beginning of what this special park has to offer because the wildlife viewing here is easy and accessible. Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered but beautiful species. You’re sure to see rare Rothschild’s Giraffe along with white rhino, especially along the lakeshore.
The park is also sanctuary to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black rhino. So get your camera ready!
Later continue to the Lake Naivasha.
Overnight shall be at your lake Naivasha lodge or tented camp resort

Day 5
Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Morning boat safari to explore this exotic freshwater Rift valley lake. Watch hippos and view exotic birds and small game.
Proceed for a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island. Later drive to the incredible Masai Mara game reserve, home to the big five and more… An afternoon game viewing drive in this spectacular reserve shall introduce you to its splendors.
Overnight at your Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.
Day 6
Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Morning boat safari to explore this exotic freshwater Rift valley lake. Watch hippos and view exotic birds and small game.
Proceed for a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island. Later drive to the incredible Masai Mara game reserve, home to the big five and more… An afternoon game viewing drive in this spectacular reserve shall introduce you to its splendors
Overnight at your Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.
Day 7
Masai Mara – Nairobi
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch.
A morning game viewing drive at the Mara.
Later depart for Nairobi to arrive approximately 4:30 pm.
Drop off at your Nairobi hotel or airport
